This presentation will cover research and training activities carried out within the Aerospace Engineering and Aviation Discipline at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. The discipline is developing enabling technologies for next-generation air transportation systems and composite materials and structures have been areas of strength of the Centre for more than 25 years. The presentation will also cover elements of research on smart diagnostics capability for the identification of aircraft control surface free-play and other asset diagnostic tools under development.

报告人简介:

Dr Pier Marzocca is a Professor and Associate Dean of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering and Aviation Discipline) at RMIT University since 2015.
